Shoppers in and around the 60563 ZIP code now can conveniently retrieve their Amazon orders at CITYGATE on Naperville’s northwest side. The area’s first Amazon Locker is in operation at 2035 Calamos Ct., at CITYGATE on Rte. 59 between Ferry Rd. and I-88.
“Initially we thought about adding an Amazon Locker to the campus for employee convenience,” said Calamos Real Estate VP Heidi DeVries, senior property manager for the CITYGATE campus. “But as we explored the idea and learned there is no other Amazon Locker location in our ZIP code, we recognized it’s a benefit for the entire northwest Naperville community.”
Amazon Locker is a safe, secure and easy-to-use way to receive Amazon packages or send returns. When purchasing or returning merchandise at Amazon, shoppers can select an Amazon Locker location to pick up or drop off their package securely, at a time that is convenient for them. The new Amazon Locker location at CITYGATE can be found by the name “Tierra” on the Amazon site.
The Amazon Locker at CITYGATE, Tierra, is in an enclosed and heated vestibule of the parking structure on the southeast side of campus, near Rte. 59 & Westings Ave. It offers 24/7 accessibility with security-camera recording.
CITYGATE is a vibrant, mixed-use restaurant, retail and Class-A office campus bringing together the Forbes Four-Star, AAA Four-Diamond Hotel Arista, full-service Arista Spa & Salon, and Olympus Executive Fitness Center; plus USDA Prime steakhouse CityGate Grille; Che Figata Italian kitchen and market; Zorba Cocktail Bar featuring craft specialties; HD sports bar Tap In Pub; Kafenio, a fast-casual breakfast & lunch café; and Lavazza, serving fresh coffee, gelato and baked goods.
Its Class-A office space houses the global headquarters of Calamos Investments and Calamos Wealth Management, and a range of corporate tenants such as SMS Assist which came to CityGate six months ago and just hired its 100th Naperville employee. It plans to quickly double that headcount.
